QuickBooks Desktop Export Guide
Export your CostCrunch invoices directly to QuickBooks Desktop with our built-in CSV export feature. No complex setup required.
Built-in QuickBooks Desktop Support
CostCrunch includes QuickBooks Desktop export functionality right out of the box. There's nothing to configure - just click Export and select QuickBooks Desktop.
How to Export

Navigate to Your Invoices
Go to the Documents section and find the invoice you want to export.

Click Export
Click the Export button next to your invoice. A dropdown menu will appear.

Select QuickBooks Desktop
Choose "QuickBooks Desktop" from the dropdown. Your CSV file will download automatically.

Import to QuickBooks Desktop
In QuickBooks Desktop, go to File → Utilities → Import → IIF Files, then select the downloaded CSV file.
CSV Format Details
Our export format is optimized for QuickBooks Desktop bill imports and includes:
- Vendor name and bill number
- Bill date and due date (30 days)
- Line items with descriptions and amounts
- Default expense account (Materials & Supplies)
Pro Tip
You can export multiple invoices at once using our bulk export feature. Just select multiple invoices and choose "Export Selected" from the actions menu.
